Learning outcomes: 

1. To understand the scope of Occupational Therapy in Neuromuscular Conditions.
2. Increase knowledge in common finger and hand dysfunction and deformities in neuromuscular conditions.
3. Have an awareness of the types of hand-based splints that may be beneficial for people with neuromuscular conditions
4. Improve ability to screen for work-based needs that would warrant referral to occupational therapy, including common reasonable adjustments.
5. Increase awareness of common aids/adaptations used by people with neuromuscular conditions.
6. Improve understanding of the different OT services and when to refer to each one.
